-Remember The Persecuted-

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. Hebrews 13:13

I recently read a book titled 'The Heavenly Man' by Brother Yun, a brother from China. Wow, it was an amazing book! He truly is an encouragement to me. The things he went through for the sake of the gospel is amazing!  It has really brought a soberness to my spiritual life.  Here is a link to his book:

Shortly after I finished 'The Heavenly Man', my Dad, brother, sister and I were able to attend a Voice of the Martyrs conference! That conference was so challenging and just help strengthen my burden for the persecuted church all over the world! It is truly amazing what these dear brothers and sisters endure for the sake of Christ. They suffer beatings, sickness, starvation, ridicule and sometimes death. This is happening everyday all over the world. Wow, it has really made me think about my personal relationship with Jesus. Am I willing to die for my faith? Is this really a conviction of mine or am I just lukewarm? I praise the LORD for showing me these things over the past month and a half! It has brought me so much closer to Himself. Such a loving Saviour He is! He has so much love, patience and forgiveness for us. Are we we willing to take up our cross daily and follow Him? Are we willing to deny ourselves and lay aside our flesh and the things that God is not pleased with and obey His Word? Are we fully surrendered to CHRIST?! It is a life or death decision.... In the last days, there will be those whom Jesus knows and those He doesn't. Please consider where you stand with the Lord!

One of the speakers at the VOM conference was Pastor John Stone (Shi Weihan). His testimony is amazing. He was arrested in China for printing Bibles and was in prison for 3 years. He endured torture and persecution of all kinds. But, he held fast to his profession and did not give in! He now resides in Texas and represents ChinaAid http://www.chinaaid.org/.  Below is video of Pastor Shi's testimony. It was such a joy to meet him and his sweet daughter Lily. What a blessing it was to get a chance to talk with her and hear more about China! Praise the lord for fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Also, at the conference, we received a book by Randy Alcorn titled: Safely Home. It is a very well written story about the underground church in China. I was really blessed and challenged by this book. I would encourage anyone to read this! It really gives you a clear picture into the lives of the Chinese Christians today.

Spring.... Just Around the Corner?

Spring is such a beautiful month! So fresh and clean... Everything comes alive from after the long, cold months of fall and winter. It makes me think of a person when they become a new creature in Christ! They go from a burdened, self focused, slave to sin.... To a new creation all together! A person who has been born again into the likeness of the Son of God. A beautiful thought! Praise the Lord~ Help me to be more like You!

I think my favorite flower is the daffodil. They are such a beautiful and simple little flower. The last few days, they have been blooming all over! I just LOVE spring! :-) Here are some pictures from our daffodil gathering party... Happy spring!

Very pretty Gracie~

Do they smell good Laura?

"Yes, they do Addy!"

The fruits of our labors

Don't they look nice? Thank you Lord for such special blessings!

Matt. 6:28-33 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;  and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?.......... But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you!"

Catching up.... :-)

I have not blogged for quite some time now! Wow, life is so busy and seems to be flying by!

Right now, we are living in the King's house in Napavine. It has been such a blessing to be here. Lots of room for the children and dogs to run and play! :-) We are not sure how long the Lord will have us here but I am SO glad to know that the Lord has a plan and that He controls ALL things!

He has really been teaching me that over the past months, especially when it comes to going back to Belize. I miss it SO very much! The people, the culture, the slower pace... We all miss it so much and cannot wait to get back. We have had a few things come up that will not allow us to go back until about November. But, our all knowing Father will guide our way and show us the next step! He is the only wise God.

Yes, everyone continues to grow and grow here! Ryan is absolutely HUGE! He is almost as tall as Daddy and makes his older sisters look like shrimps... :-) Grant too is getting big and will soon be passing me up as well. Gracie is growing into such a sweet and helpful young lady. She is so kind and gentle with Laura. Miss Laura is not a baby anymore! :-( She is getting to be such a big girl too. She is very loving and loves tagging along with Gracie everywhere. Both of the little girls keep us on the floor with laughter! They are such a cute little duo.

I praise the Lord for good health, my wonderful and amazing family and the sunshine that I see shining in at the window! The Lord is so good, amazing and kind! What an amazing God we serve!... Praise Him for His endless love and the power he gives us to resist the devil through Him alone!

Psalm 103:2-6 Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

Hi Laura!

My Trip to Pennsylvania~

I was blessed with the opportunity to go back East to see some very dear friends for almost 2 weeks! It was SO nice to see the children again. I have missed them so much. Our friend Amie had her precious little 8th baby boy at 29 weeks... So, having to be in the NICU, they needed someone to come and help with the other children. I was honored to be able to go! The Gray's children are so sweet and helpful. Brodie, the eldest is just amazing! He is so capable and good with his siblings. It was an encouragement to see them all work together. :) Here are some pictures from PA! I hope I may be able to visit or see them again soon. I miss them all *very* much!
